This is actually a surprisingly valuable life lesson. Before you JAM YOUR TONGUE into your significant other's mouth to kiss and make up after a fight . . . you'd better be sure they're not still holding a grudge.
--On Valentine's Day, 51-year-old Elaine Cook of Skokie, Illinois and her 47-year-old boyfriend got into a fight. They've been together for 10 months and it's not clear why they got into a fight.
--Anyway, Elaine's boyfriend decided they should just move past it, kiss, and make up. So he started kissing her. And Elaine responded by . . . BITING OFF a LARGE CHUNK of his TONGUE.
--He ran to the kitchen and tossed his tongue in a bag of ice. Then he called 911. Doctors were NOT able to reattach the missing piece of the tongue.--Elaine was arrested and charged with felony aggravated domestic battery. She's still in jail . . . because her bail is $100,000 and her boyfriend says he's not paying because, quote, "I have to focus on getting better now."
